The IMDEA Nanociencia Institute joins the Spanish Association of the Semiconductor Industry AESEMI

Madrid, September 18th, 2023. The Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies in Nanoscience (IMDEA Nanociencia) joins forces with the Spanish Association of the Semiconductor Industry (AESEMI) to collaborate in the promotion of the sector.
The mission of the IMDEA Nanociencia Institute is to carry out and promote activities of excellence in R+D+i in the region of Madrid and, by extension, in Spain, in close collaboration with the productive sector. To achieve its objective, it develops internationally recognized innovative science and technology, with the potential to be effectively applied to increase the competitiveness of the Madrid economy, the productivity of its companies and the improvement of its public services. Once the development is done, it transfers the results of the research to society through an efficient model of technology transfer and disseminates scientific knowledge, participating in scientific dissemination activities.
The IMDEA Institutes of the Region of Comunidad de Madrid maintain close relations with the business fabric in all phases of the knowledge generation process and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration between the different agents of the Madrid science and technology system.
