Dr. Denis Paredes Roibas
I completed a Degree in Chemistry and later a Master’s in Chemical Science and Technology, specializing in Physical Chemistry, both at UNED. I then earned a PhD in Sciences through a joint program between UNED and CSIC, focused on high-resolution Raman spectroscopy and the measurement of spectral line profiles of CO perturbed by H2 and N2.
During my PhD, I spent eight months at the National University of Taiwan working with Prof. King Chuen on CRDS spectroscopy of photofragments, and three months at the University of Rennes with Prof. Franck Thibault, where I carried out calculations on collisional broadening of spectral lines.
Since September 2024, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Nanoscience, working in Enrique Canovas’s group.
